Chapter 13: Waterfall

Well, most of my grades are out by this point, and they went well! To celebrate: more Tiger's Curse . Last time, I had to issue a correction about the new character showing up. He actually shows up in the next chapter after this one. So I was close, but missed it by a couple of chapters. I can't wait until he shows up. This is another pretty pointless chapter. Kelsey and Mr. Kadam have another conversation, and then Ren and Kelsey go back into the jungle to wait for more stuff to happen, and then it ends. See you in the next chapter! Okay, fine, I'll get deeper into this one. But, really, nothing happens. Chapter Thirteen: Waterfall Kelsey wakes up to find a backpack already packed for her once again, and a note from Mr. Kadam telling her that she should pack for a couple of days of travel. Also that she should bring a swimsuit. It looks like they're going traveling again. I'm not sure how long they've been back at Ren's house, but I think it'

Chapter 12: Durga's Prophecy

And we're back to our irregularly scheduled nonsense! Last time Kelsey and Ren basically just ripped off Indiana Jones for about twenty pages. It wasn't particularly original or interesting, but it was mostly inoffensive outside of several heinous misspellings. If you don't remember, the chapter ended with them discovering the prophecy written in...magical acid (?)...on a rock, so they took pictures of it to bring back to Mr. Kadam. I guess to artificially pad out the page length? I'm not sure why Ren couldn't just read the prophecy and tell Kelsey where they need to go next/what they need to do next, which would have given our protagonists a bit more agency in the plot. As it is, they're basically at the mercy of Mr. Exposition  Kadam telling them what to do all the time. This chapter is also completely pointless as the only things that happen in it are 1) a fight scene that happens off screen and 2) the translation of the prophecy that they found last chapte

Chapter 11: The Cave of Kanheri

Hey, I survived finals, so now I'm back with our irregularly scheduled nonsense! Last time (which was November 12 , uh, sorry...), we joined Kelsey at Ren's sprawling Grecian mansion that is somehow hidden in the middle of a tiger preserve in India. Our dynamic duo is about to head to the Cave of Kanheri to use the Seal of the empire to speak to the Hindu goddess Durga. Ren was also very creepy towards a teenage girl that he had just met, and had only had two conversations with. Kelsey was okay with this.  I was not. Let's get this show on the road! A quick peek of what we have in store for us: Temple of Doom , the best Indiana Jones movie! Chapter Eleven: The Cave of Kanheri This chapter is essentially a truncated Indiana Jones movie. It's a full twenty-five pages of dull action scenes that would probably look okay in a movie but are really not very exciting to read at all. Kelsey wakes up and finds the Mujulaain Empire's Seal sitting in her roo
